juice's question:
How can I travel around Paris?(give a different answer) .
Paris has two underground public transport systems: the metro (Metropolitain) with 14 lines and 372 stations and the RER (Reseau Express Regional) with lines from A to E and then numbered. A metro train is known by the name of its terminus, the last metro runs until 1am and starts at 5.30 am. The same RATP ticket is valid for metro, RER, bus, Montmartre funicular, trams and costs 1.30 euro, a book of 10 tickets is 10 euro. You can buy a Paris Visite pass for discounted entry at several museums, activities and transport in three to eight zones. A tourist pass for three zones is 8.35 to 26.65 euro( for one to five days).
