You can do like I did. I went to this operator called Canauxrama on quay de la Loire and get on one of those barges that depart at 9.45 AM. It only costs 10 Euros and you get to see some of the most interesting sites in Paris, between Port de Plaisance de Paris-Arsenal and Parc de la Villette.
