The Flame of Liberty Memorial in Paris

Posted 1 year ago by musica in response to avatar marcelus's question: they dedicated a memorial to Diana the princess of Wales in Paris?really? (give a different answer) .

Well, not really. But near the place Diana's tragic death occured, near that underpass where the car accident took place, there was this memorial flame called The Flame of Liberty Memorial, and those who flocked to Paris to see the spot used it as a memorial for Diana. For 5 years notes, graffitti flowers and candles were placed there. The municipality though had to clean up at a certain point
