What is there to see in the Parisian Place de la Bastille?(give a different answer) .
The one and only Bastille is the most notorious European monument that no longer exists...Odd, isn't it? The truth is the prison was demolished in 1789 during the Revolution, and now the square is actually nothing more than a crowded place resembling an anthill....The original Bastille, built in the 14th century, functioned at the begining as a royal residence. Go have a look anyway!
