Grand Palais, as they call the Grand Palace is located on av du General Eisenhower, not far from the Champs Elysees Clemenceau metro station. The Galerie Nationales du Grand Palais are hosted there, and they organize special exhibitions, which are indeed very popular. Should you want to go there it is advisable to book in advance. A month earlier:)
