jean's question:
Where exactly is Champs Elysee in Paris? And why is it such a big attraction for tourists?(give a different answer) .
Why??? It's glamorous and best depicts the Parisian joie de vivre and refined style. The broad boulevard is packed full with first class stores: Versace, Gucci, and all the brands were clothes are more expensive than 10 years' rent. Champs Elysee radiates fron Place Charles de Gaulle (or Place d'Etioile, as French nicknamed it), and makes the connection between place de la Concorde and The Arch of Triumph. Greek mythology baptised the boulevard, as the Elysee Fields were the shrine where joyful flawless souls rose after death!
