If you have money on you, and want to see an opera or ballet show, I recommend you Opera Bastille, located on 2-6 place de la Bastille. Take Rer train 12e or metro Bastille. Tickets can be bought from the box office, 130 rue de Lyon (opened 11 am -6.30 pm) but you should book two weeks ahead for a show. Tickets for opera are 6 to about 115 euro, for ballet shows from 13 to 70 euro. Seats with no visibility are the cheapest, at 6 to 9 euro, and if unsold, tickets can be bought with 20 euro, just 15 min before the curtain goes up, but only if you're a student.
