I think bullfighting will suit your preferences. During the three annual fairs, Nimes becomes very “Spanish”. There is the three day Spring Festival in February, the second lasts five days in June-Whitsuntide Festival- and the three day Feria des Vendages, with daily corridas, it's on the third weekend in September. You can buy tickets from Bureau de Locations des Arenes located on 2 rue de la Violette.
