True, over two milennia ago, the Romans built the city of Lugdunum on that hill. The place is called now the "hill of prayer", but a basilica and the Tour Metallique, used as a TV transmitter, are all you can see there. The tower is a Tour Eiffel structure, erected in 1893, but less taller, obviously...Just climb for a panoramic view over Lyon!
