Beaches of Cannes

Posted 1 year ago by sasha in response to avatar klein's question: I'll have my summer holiday in Cannes. What about its beaches? (give a different answer) .

It's a privilege to have a sun bath in Cannes...public beaches are scarce, most of them are sectioned off for the reach inhabiting the fancy hotels on boulevard de la Croisette. Nevertheless, there is a patch of free beach near the Palais des Festivals, as well as the tiny Plages du Midi and Plages de la Bocca, stretching west from the Old Harbour. Save a consistent sum of money, if you qualify as a sun worshipper, I'd say: it's 19 euros per day for a lounge chair.
