In mid-May and it lasts 10 days. I have been to Cannes once, but it was summer and I just enjoyed the general atmosphere of facelifted dessed to kill...both women and men, actually. A friend taught me into this holiday, so I can tell you, from his knowledge, the town is a ticking bomb duaring the time of the festival. There's even a Palais des Festivals, as far as I remember :)
