Cathedrale St. Andre of Bordeaux

Posted 1 year ago by sakis in response to avatar forestgump's question: What else is there worth visiting in Bordeaux? I refer to cathedrals, towers... (give a different answer) .

The place where King Louis VII married Eleanor of Aquitaine, it was declared by Unesco a World Heritage site. I'm speaking of Cathedrale St. Andre, a nice touristic target, I'd say. Behind it, there is also a belfry, Tour Pey Berland...It's not a giant, but you can have a panoramic view over the city when you get on top of the 232 steps. Go on, admission is free!
