enrique's question:
Where is the area where they make that famous wine in Bordeaux? And can I just burst in and have a look?(give a different answer) .
It's just around the city, covering an area about 1000 sq kilometres. The properties where they grow the grapes, pick them and, in the end, transform them in wine are called chateaux, domaines or clos...If you have a twinkling star above your head, you'll be lucky enough to let you in...I mean, some of these chateux allow visitors, but the most important ones require a reservation by phone. Anyway, they are sealed during the "vendange", the sacred grape harvest in October.
