Biarritz has beautiful beaches: Grande Plage and Plage Miramar at the north but very crowded in the summer. The best option is Anglet and its surfing and sailing beaches. To get there take bus no. 9 from Clemenceau square in the town’s center. You can rent a board from Auberge de Jeunesse on on 8 rue Chiquito de Cambo.
