Head for the Musee de la Mer located on the Esplanade de la Vierge, to see the aquarium with underwater flora and fauna from the Bay of Biscay (Golfe de Gascogne). The museum also displays exhibits about the commercial fishing and whaling past of Biarritz. Visiting hours are from 9.30 am to 6 pm, with an hour break or so at noon, Tuesday to Saturday. Entry fees are from 4.60 to 7.20 euro.
